Using MIMIC

MIMIC lets signed-in users combine a subject photo and a style reference to generate a profile avatar. By signing in or using the service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

Your responsibility for uploads

You must own or have permission to use every image you upload. A subject photo must show you or a person who has clearly authorized you to use their image. You are responsible for the images you upload and for how you use or share generated results.

Content rules

You may not use MIMIC to upload, generate or distribute:

  • Images used without the necessary copyright, privacy, publicity or likeness rights.
  • Non-consensual intimate content or sexual content involving minors.
  • Content intended for impersonation, fraud, harassment or deception.
  • Illegal, hateful, graphically violent or otherwise harmful content.
  • Content that violates applicable law or another person's rights.

You must be at least 16 years old to use the avatar generation service. Users under 16 may not create an account or upload images.

Generated results

AI results can vary and may not be unique. You are responsible for reviewing a result before using it. Each successful generation uses one creation; a technical failure returns that creation to your balance.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices, included creations and refund terms are shown before checkout. Purchased creations have no cash value and may not be transferred between accounts.

Enforcement and complaints

We may refuse a generation, suspend an account or remove stored content when we reasonably believe these rules were violated or when required by law. We will review credible copyright, privacy and likeness complaints and respond appropriately.

Service limits

MIMIC is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, MIMIC is not responsible for claims caused by a user's lack of rights or permission, or by the user's distribution or misuse of generated content. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
